In Person Physiotherapy Session
at Brooklin Village Physio
With the resumption of In Clinic physiotherapy sessions at Brooklin Village Physiotherapy we have made several changes to provide a safe environment for all our patients and staff. COVID-19 health screening and mask wearing are mandatory prior to entering the clinic.
All patients, staff and visitors will be screened daily. If a patient screens positive for COVID-19, they will be advised not to come to the clinic and offered virtual care where appropriate. The patient will be advised to self-isolate and to complete the online self-assessment tool on the Ontario Ministry of Health website before calling their doctor or Telehealth Ontario.
Patients and visitors are asked to wear their own mask to the clinic if they have one, otherwise they will be provided a mask upon arrival. Once they have passed an in person screen as well they will proceed to our hand hygiene station. For quick video click here. Once finished they will be directed to their appropriate treatment area.
Enhanced Cleaning and Sanitization Procedures
All treatment beds, furniture, equipment used in patient contact is cleaned and disinfected after each use. Special attention is paid to commonly touched surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches etc
Pillow cases, towels and clothing are laundered and dried on the highest temperature setting possible.
If any exercise equipment is brought to a treatment area it will be proper disinfected prior to and after use.
Online Portal for Booking and Filling out Paperwork
To promote a contactless experience in the clinic we have created an online Client Portal allowing booking, viewing outstanding and paid invoices, filling out paperwork online and accessing your exercise program (PhysioTec). We continue to offer Direct Billing to Extended Health Care plans. Contactless payments are encouraged at this time through Tap, Apple Pay, E-Transfer and we have added secure online payments through Square.

Our Physios and Office Admins have been scheduled to minimize the number of people in the clinic at one time and to minimize staff interactions with each other and patients.
