Accessing Services

Physiotherapy is a direct access health profession therefore services do not require a physician’s referral, however certain extended health carriers may request a physician’s referral prior to reimbursing patients for their treatment expenses.   Every employer has different arrangements with their benefit providers, therefore we advise you to clarify this issue with your Benefit Insurer prior to commencing physiotherapy treatments.

Services are covered by:

  • Most extended health insurance plans through employers

  • Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB) for approved claims on work related injuries

  • Auto insurance following an motor vehicle accident

  • Self payment
