Taping and Braces

Taping is a great adjunct to your physical therapy treatment plan as it can help speed up your injury healing time by supporting your muscles and joints during daily activities that cannot be avoided.

Therapeutic taping can be used to progress healing of various different conditions, some being:

  • And Many More…

What Are the Benefits of Taping?

Taping can be left on for a few days, which provides therapeutic benefits to the injured area 24 hours a day, significantly accelerating the healing process from trauma, injuries and inflammatory conditions. A list of therapeutic benefits are:

  • Pain Relief

  • Swelling Reduction

  • Lymphoedema Reduction

  • Reduced Muscle Fatigue, Cramps and Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS)

  • Assists Weak or Injured Muscles

  • Quicker Return to Sports, Work and Play

Braces are beneficial for your aches, pains and injuries as they help you immobilize, protect, unload and/or support the injured tissues in order to facilitate the healing process. Braces may allow you to return to your normal routine and activities by helping harmful movements.
